
Mireya Jacuinde has been a Board Member since 2024. Originally from the Texas Panhandle, Mireya earned a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Communication Studies from West Texas A&M University. As a daughter of immigrants and as a first-generation college graduate, Mireya has a deep passion for education and gratitude for community. She currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Student Services and Enrollment Management at Odessa College, helping underrepresented populations access higher education in the Permian Basin. With a deep commitment to representation and advocacy, Mireya serves on the board with hopes of empowering and strengthening her community.
